Mark Jackson (aka Jacko)

Jacko studied fine art, and latterly taught sculpture, at the Charles H. Cecil studios in Florence.

Jacko's work already has a Paralympic theme, with his most major commission being a statue of Sir Ludwig "Poppa" Guttmann, the founder of the Paralympics, for the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville.

Having served in the Army himself, Jacko is keen to follow, and record, the preparation and participation of ex-servicemen and women in the Paralympic Games.
